Most of the time, my farm animals—especially the goats—fill my life with endless laughter and joy. I don’t mind waking up in the middle of the night to play midwife or giving a momma goat a well-deserved break by snuggling her babies. Keeping them healthy and happy is a commitment I cherish. But nothing prepares me for those moments when one of my goats falls ill, or when age catches up, and I sense the end approaching. Those moments tear at the calm and joy I hold dear and leave me feeling deeply paralyzed and heartbroken.

I am so sorry for your loss, Sandra. I know how hard it is to lose a special one. Praying for peace. My kitties, Panther and Raven, will be there to meet him!
Yes Lebeaux is jumping and snuggling with all of our fur babies, even my parents are having a ball with him. However does it sound selfish to think that I want to too? Sorry, still grieving so much and as I type tears are just running down my cheeks. I would do this for all my babies.
