As the years passed and our beloved Picnic with the Goats event flourished, it became increasingly clear that our visitors were hungry for more than just picnics and goat cuddles and yoga with the goats. They craved knowledge about organic farming, beekeeping, food processing, and all the intricacies of homesteading life. In response to this growing interest, and feeling a guiding hand from above, we embarked on a new journey: the Harvest Haven Workshop Series.
Nurturing Growth
In 2024, we felt a calling from God to share our knowledge and expertise with others who shared our passion for sustainable living. And thus, the Harvest Haven Workshop Series was born. Held once a month on our mini farm, these workshops are designed to empower participants with the skills and knowledge they need to cultivate their own thriving homesteads.
A Bounty of Learning
Each workshop in the series covers a different aspect of homesteading life, from electro gardening to companion gardening, poultry and game keeping to rabbit husbandry, and even the processing of homegrown food. We delve into the intricacies of beekeeping, exploring the vital role these pollinators play in our ecosystem, and venture into the wild to forage for herbs and edible plants.
Community and Connection
But the Harvest Haven Workshop Series is about more than just learning new skills. It’s about building community and connecting with like-minded individuals who share a passion for sustainable living. As we gather together to learn and grow, we forge friendships and bonds that will last a lifetime, united by our shared commitment to stewarding the land and living in harmony with nature.

Come and Cultivate Knowledge
Even though some may charge for this knowledge, we believe in the power of sharing. We simply want to pass on the information that we have learned over the years of homesteading and growing our own food. This too has turned into a Community Project, and we enjoy passing on our knowledge. Just like all of our other events, anyone can participate; all we ask for is a donation to continue to grow our farm and support our mission of sustainability.
